Tired of excessive charges by eBay and other corporately-led sites? We are free to use until 1st September 2026. The only charge during this period will be the payment gateway fee that the banks charge – usually about 20p to 50p depending on the goods. After this free period, we only take 8% and only from an actual sale – that’s it. No insertion fees, no convoluted final evaluation fees, nothing!
FREE TO USE UNTIL 1st SEPTEMBER 2026*
* The terms and conditions legal bit – important to read!
- This offer excludes any charges imposed by banks \ financial institutions for processing payments
- After the 1st September 2026, Kwirks will charge 8% on each sale.
- For the first 15 stores opened on this site, store owners will only pay 5% FOR LIFE
- We will not impose any listing or insertion fees.
- You are free to sell anything via fixed price or auction so long as it’s legal, not restricted from sale by way of any licences, government controls, copyrights or third party claims to ownership.
- Your store will be initially allocated up to 150mb of space and a limit of 50 sale items. More space can be made available upon request.
The average product shot is approx. 200k to 300k in size so that’s enough room for approx. 400 product shots and maybe even a little space for short videos. This will expand in the coming months. I would suggest (but not a rule) that product shots are square (1:1) and about 800px x 800px for upload. For products with fine details, aim for 1500px to 2000px to allow for high-quality zoom functionality.

About Kwirks
and the business
Many of these corporate sites, and I single eBay out in particular, make you feel like all you are doing is working for them with an avalanche of micro charges being made to undermine your bottom line. It never used to be that way. And I don’t work that way. Nor will I accept inferior, and often questionable quality, goods from overseas. If you’ve made it yourself & you just want a level playing field, then this is the site for you.
